We are currently searching for an Assistant Practice Manager to join our North Division. Assistant Practice Managers collaborate with Practice Managers, Physicians and staff to run efficient offices where patient care is the priority.
In this role you will work directly with patients to ensure a pleasant and smooth experience. You will perform administrative duties such as staff scheduling, payroll administration and performance management. You will be expected to address escalated patient and employee issues in the moment and provide follow up as needed. Assistant Practice Managers participate in the selection of new employees and conduct new employee training.
You will also work with other Assistant Practice Managers to address issues or concerns across all divisions and provide recommendations for improvement. You may also represent the South division on practice-wide committees for new initiatives such as EMR deployment or ongoing programs such as employee recognition.
Successful candidates will be problem solvers with a proactive, can-do attitude. We are looking for candidates that understand the importance of each office function and are willing to perform any of them if needed (scheduling, check in/out, medical records, operator, etc). We prefer candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or other related field along with 2 to 4 years of prior medical office experience. Candidates with experience in a team lead or supervisory-type role are strongly preferred.
